    The State School of Mines and Metallurgy opened its doors to 27 students on Sept. 23, 1914.

    A few things have changed over the past 90 years, as that little school has developed into the University of Texas at El Paso.

    That transformation, however, would not have been possible without you — its students, faculty, staff, alumni and community supporters.
