The Anime Society at the University

The Anime Society at the University, previously known as the Anime Society of UTEP, was founded in the fall semester of 1998. It was an organization that had as its objective make known Japanese Animation to the UTEP Community and to the El Paso Community as well.

Today, we still have the same objective. We have had weekly meetings all these years, every friday at 1:00pm at the Liberal Arts Building Room 403. We have Videogame tournaments, Trips to the Movie Theathre when an anime movie is released, Trips to Conventions, our own Convention, Slumber Parties, and other such activities.
