Irasshaimase!!

Welcome to the website of the Anime Society at the University (ASU - formerly the Anime Society of UTEP). We are a non-profit student organization at the University of Texas at El Paso whose purpose is to expand the awareness and enjoyment of Japanese animation, known as anime, to the UTEP community.

We hold our meetings on a weekly basis, where we relax, talk to fellow anime fans and enjoy great anime titles in a close, friendly atmosphere (we also have munchies ^_^).

Our showings are free to anybody that wishes to view them; however, we can only extend membership to UTEP students, faculty or staff. Members can vote on organizational issues, choose which titles will be screened (we're a democratic organization ^_^) and enter a forum where they can discuss about their favorite anime topics.

Please feel free to drop by during our meetings and talk to us. We are always happy to see new faces!

You can help us spread the word about ASU! If you know someone who enjoys anime, or simply want to let your friends know about our organization, you can print and distribute any of the flyers we have available. Your help is appreciated!
