    7.- Preprofessional Programs

Students planning to enter medical, dental, pharmacy, or veterinary schools normally require a Baccalaureate degree. A minimum of two years of biology, two years of chemistry including a year of organic chemistry, a semester of calculus, and one year of physics are required for admission to most professional schools. Information about entrance requirements to professional schools may be obtained from the Preprofessional Advisor in the Academic Advising Center. Students should seek this advice by the time they have completed 60 semester hours of credit toward a degree.
