Additional Degree Programs
The University of Texas at Austin in cooperation with The University of
Texas at El Paso grants the degree of doctor of pharmacy. The first two
years of the prepharmacy curriculum is available on the UTEP campus.
Students then apply for admission to the College of Pharmacy at UT-Austin.
At least the first two years, of the approximately four years, of course
work in pharmacy school must be taken on the Austin campus. It is
anticipated that about 1.5-2.0 of the final years of the professional
curriculum should be available at UTEP.
