Developmentally appropriate childcare programs for infants, toddlers, preschooler, and school-age children. Rationale, historical background, types of childcare programs, and the relationship of child care programs to public school services. Includes organization and management of childcare as well as planning, goals, regulations, training, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate individual programs for monolingual and bilingual children. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education.
