Introduction to Special Education (3-0)
Survey of the various exceptionalities, litigation, and laws pertaining to the handicapped
and definitions and characteristics of the various handicapping conditions. Emphasis on
the way behavior, learning problems, and physical disorders affect learning. Field
experience required. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education.
