The University of Texas at El Paso’s College of Education consists of three departments with 64 faculty members who serve more than 2,000 undergraduate students from the colleges of Education, Health Sciences, Science, and Liberal Arts.

The College of Education prepares teachers, counselors, diagnosticians, education professionals, and school administrators at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We have prepared teachers for over 80 years, and remain more committed than ever to the mission of serving El Paso by providing the highest quality education workforce possible. We are proud to report that since 2002 the College has prepared nearly 10,000 teachers who serve at schools throughout the El Paso region.
