This course is designed especially for advanced learners/users of English who are majoring in engineering and allied disciplines. It emphasizes the integration of situational analysis and effective communication within disciplinary domains and across disciplinary boundaries. Attention will be given to the special needs of the student who as a graduate professional will use English as a language of international communication.
This web/internet course is organized as a paced class. Students enrolled in the class will be expected to work on Assignments following the schedule set forth in the Calendar and to submit all work by the specified due date. A midterm and final exam will be administered under strict time constraints.
