How to Apply


We are excited that you are seeking to continue your education, and we are here to assist you along the way as you pursue your academic goals. Apply to your program of interest by following the steps below.

Undergraduate students:

  1. Go to ApplyTexas and complete an application.
  2. Request to have your official transcripts sent to UTEP.
  3. If you are an international student, pay the $65 application fee.

Graduate students:

  1. Go to the UTEP Graduate School website and complete an application.
  2. Request to have your official transcripts sent to UTEP.
  3. Submit the nonrefundable application fee for graduate students ($45 for U.S. citizens or permanent residents/Mexican nationals; $80 for international applicants).
  4. If applicable, submit official GRE/GMAT scores, a statement of purpose and letters of recommendation.

Transcripts:

Official transcripts from all institutions attended must be emailed directly from the previous institutions to UTEP. Please be sure to provide your previous academic institutions with the appropriate address.
