FAFSA & Financial Aid

UTEP's School Code is 003661.

In order for you to be considered for most forms of financial aid, you should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Even if you don’t plan to accept student loans, US citizens and eligible non-citizens should complete the form in order to be considered for certain need-based grants and other types of funding. The US Department of Education Office of Student Aid provides information about aid programs, eligibility, and loan repayment.

The UTEP Office of Financial Aid coordinates the processing and dispersal of financial aid to UTEP students. You may check the status of your awards by using the”My Status” tool at https://mystatus.utep.edu. You can also view, accept, or decline your awards at http://My.utep.edu. There, log in using your single sign on credentials, click “Goldmine,” and then select “Financial Aid.”
