The mission of El Paso's InfraGard chapter is to facilitate an industry lead, cooperative working relationship among businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies in order to continually enhance the protection of our nation's eight critical infrastructures1 in accordance with Presidential Directives, through education outreach, exchange and dissemination of information, and advocacy of ethical behavior while working in a networked world.
1The eight critical infrastructures denoted by the Presidential Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection were Banking and Finance, Information and Communications, Electric Power, Transportation, Water Supply, Emergency Services, Government Services, and Gas/Oil Production & Storage.
