How to set up Dr. Solomon's Scheduler

1.    This program will periodically scan a disk for you.  After you restart your computer you should have a clock icon at the bottom right of your task bar.  Double click on it to bring up the program.

2.    Once you are inside the program, go up to the "Edit" menu and select "Add an Event."

3.     Under "Type" select "Run Application"  a new bottom menu will appear.  From there select "Browse"  and then the executable file select wfindv32 (it will have a little magnifying glass next to it) and select Open.

3.    Under the "Event" category, use Virus Scan for the "Name."

4.     Click on Frequency and then select at "Execute at Intervals."  This will tell the computer how often you want it to scan for viruses.

5.      Fill in the fields "Every, Starting at, and Until" and then OK.  We'll leave this part up to you all

6.      After this, a message will come up asking you about the changes you have just made.  Go ahead and "Commit the changes to disk now" and select OK.

This completes your installation of Dr. Solomon's Anti-Virus Tool Kit.  If you need assistance please feel free to send us a request at http://www.utep.edu/im3/support.
