Biographic Information

I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in the spring semester of 2005 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. In the fall of the same year, I began work on my Masters degree at the same university. I have chosen to work with the genus Platythyrea for my masters thesis. I intend to complete the revision of Platythyrea and graduate in the Fall semester of 2006 or the spring semester of 2007. In addition to my work with Platythyrea, I have also been involved in ecological studies of Trachymyrmex and will do some work with Pogonomyrmex in the summer of 2006.
