CA: SAN BERNARDINO CO.
General Description.—Kurtén and Anderson 1980: NW side of Kokoweef Peak, 6.4 km S of Mountain Pass, NE San Bernardino Co. Cavity about 91.5 m deep. Ca. 15 m roughly stratified Pleistocene sediments exposed by mining activities. Includes snails, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Suggest an alpine forest with Pinus aristata, P. flexilis, Abies concolor, and Juniperus osteosperma probably near the cave.
Age.—Late Pleistocene.
