Aeronautes saxatilis—White-throated SwiftPleistocene regional distribution of Aeronautes saxatalis

These fast-flying insectivorous birds are common in our region from about 5,000 ft to timberline (Ligon 1961).


Mid/Late Wisconsin: Sandblast Cave (Emslie 1988).
