Press Conference Nov. 3
-Check presentation by the SBC Foundation-

A press conference to recognize SBC Foundation's commitment and dedication to UTEP's educational mission will be held at Noon Monday, Nov. 3, at the Peter and Margaret de Wetter Center, on the UTEP campus.

The event includes a check presentation by the SBC Foundation. This fourth installment is part of SBC's $500,000 commitment to UTEP's master's degree program in information technology. The gift was established four years ago during UTEP's Legacy Campaign.

SBC's generous contributions have provided for the creation of two endowed professorships, both of which will eventually reach the level of distinguished professorships one in the College of Engineering and one in the College of Business Administration.

These professorships support the recruitment and retention of outstanding academicians and researchers who will guide the progress of the new interdisciplinary master's degree program in information technology.
