Congratulations to Evey, Amanda, Kate, Jim, Piper, and Claire!

Six students in Geological Sciences have been awarded GSA Graduate Student Research Grants.  Pictured left to right are Cora (Evey) Gannaway (Ph.D. candidate, Giles), Amanda Labrado (Ph.D. student, Brunner), Kate Grisi (M.S. student, Giles), James Rutkofske (Ph.D. student, Pavlis), Piper Poe (M.S. student, Giles) and Claire Bailey (Ph.D. candidate, Langford). 

The primary role of the GSA research grants program is to provide partial support of master's and doctoral thesis research in the geological sciences for graduate students enrolled in universities in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America.
