OUR
MISSION:
To promote
excellence in student nursing by developing a “student network” for
aiding student
nurses to achieve:

OUR
VISION:
To
witness satisfied student nurses acquire skills necessary to produce satisfied
patients.
OUR
GOAL:
To
establish a structure that supports a “Student Nurse Network” at UTEP.
OUR
PURPOSE:
1.
To provide a setting for sharing of student nursing
information,
2.
To unify the body of student
nurses at UTEP,
3.
To promote a continued positive
student nurse image within the health community of El Paso,
4.
To promote nursing as a career, and
5.
To encourage advanced education
for student nurses.

TNSA Projects & Activities for 2001 – 2002
1.
Present an
Antibacterial Soap Campaign to the community of El Paso at health fairs, and
with television and radio commercials to be aired during the summer of 2001.
2.
Work with the
Secretary of State’s Office to promote proper handwashing to the Colonias.
3.
Promote nursing
as a career choice for high school students in El Paso.
4.
Various
fundraisers throughout the year – watch for our flyers!
5.
Publish four (4) issues of Vital Signs during the
year.
6. Monthly meetings for all members and anyone interested in our organization.
