WillcoxAge. Rancholabrean (Mead et al. 2005).

General Description. Deposits around the edge of Willcox Playa (Pleistocene Lake Cochise) (Mead et al. 2005).

Bryan and Gidley (1926) gave several discrete sites and some stratigraphy. They recorded E. cf. pacificus, E. cf. hatcheri, Equus sp., Elephas cf. primigenius, Camelops niobrarensis, and Bison sp. The horses were of three different sizes. Which presently-recognized taxa the horses and camel belong to is problematic.
