19 Dec 2008: "Arroyo de las Tinajas 7A" added to Sites and the taxa from that site added to the taxon accounts. "Arroyo de las Tinajas 1" added to Sites and the taxa from that site added to the taxon accounts. "Arroyo de las Tinajas 7B" added to Sites and the taxa from that site added to the taxon accounts. "Arroyo de las Tinajas 7D" added to Sites and the taxa from that site added to the taxon accounts. 23 Dec 2008: Site location maps added for Tome and White Rock. Added Thomomys sp. and Canis latrans for Rocky Arroyo No. 1. Added Shafter Midden and its taxa.
25 Dec 2008: San Antonio Cave site account expanded.
28 Dec 2008: Aztlanolagus agilis, Lepus californicus, Lepus townsendii, Sylvilagus audubonii, Sylvilagus floridanus, and Sylvilagus nuttallii were left out of the Pendejo Cave site account earlier; added.
A photograph of the entrance area to Dry Cave has been added.
A new section, Environments: Mid Wisconsin, has been added.
29 Dec 2008: Slight changes made to "Environments1 and some material added to Environments1.
31 Dec 2008: Updated shrew nomenclature in Hermits Cave account (S. monticolus to S. neomexicanus). Burnet Cave site account revamped, with references added for faunal elements. General cleanup of various pages.
2 Jan 2009: The Fowlkes Cave site account has been made accessible. Mylohyus taxon account added. Several pages on Pleistocene environments finished and made accessible.
11 Jan 2009: Measurements page added to the Stockoceros account (link just before "Sites" section).
13 Jan 2009: Additional measurements from the literature added to the Stockoceros account.
18 Jan 2009: In order to more easily allow comparison of measurements of antilocaprids, many measurements have been transferred to a separate page accessible through the Antilocapridae page. As a result, the changes of 11 and 13 Jan may be ignored.
31 Jan 2009: The Stockoceros page has been extensively reworked.
7 Feb 2009: The Sylvilagus page has been split between the species accounts and an introductory page dwelling on systematics and discrimination. This is a work in progress and changes are expected over the coming days.
11 Feb 2009: Changes to the Sylvilagus page have been completed and a link to the measurements of modern and fossil specimens of Sylvilagus have been added to the mensural data page.
13 Feb 2009: The database for the Sylvilagus data proved to be corrupted; mensural data, the plot of dentary toothrow length vs. dentary depth, and the principal components plot have been redone.
14 Feb 2009: Re-identification of specimens from Stalag 17 from Sylvilagus ? floridanus to S. audubonii removes the Eastern Cottontail from the list of occurrences for that site.
20 Feb 2009: Acinonyx replaced by Miracinonyx and account updated.
21 Feb 2009: Panthera account reworked with a number of comparative measurements added.
7 Mar 2009: Material discussing the proper scientific name for Navahoceros fricki added to the Navahoceros account.
8 Mar 2009: A reference to the number of Gymnogyps californianus recovered from Mule Ears Peaks Cave was added to the site account. Lechuguilla Cave was added to the sites. A National Park Service photograph was added to the Euceratherium account. Coragyps atratus was added to the Dust Cave and Coragyps atratus accounts.
16 Mar 2009: Elaphe emoryi changed to Pantherophis emoryi with the account amended and the corresponding change to the Reptilia index.
19 Mar 2009: Catalogue number of Capromeryx humerus (Fig. 2 in Capromeryx account) corrected.
23 Mar 2009: Photographs added to the Shelter Cave account and text changed.
25 Mar 2009: The Navahoceros account has been changed with the incorporation of information from Morejohn and Dailey (2004). Basically, the reassignment of Navahoceros to Odocoileus is rejected. Measurements added to Stockoceros conklingi and Navahoceros fricki. Sylvilagus audubonii and Tamias sp. added to Shelter Cave faunal list and appropriate changes made to the species accounts.
26 Mar 2009: A few further remarks on the systematics of Navahoceros have been added.
27 Mar 2009: Two records of Mammuthus sp. (Near Marathon and Marfa Plains) have been added.
29 Mar 2009: Google Earth images showing the general settings have been added to the U-Bar Cave, Shelter Cave, and Howell's Ridge Cave accounts.
30 Mar 2009: Because of a conflict of names, the name "Anthony Gap Cave" is reverted to "Anthony Cave".
31 Mar 2009: In the "All Sites" menu, "Dry Cave" has been added to the various links leading to sites within the extensive Dry Cave system.
