National Rehabilitation Counseling Association

Texas Rehabilitation Association
The Texas Rehabilitation Association (TRA) is a state chapter of the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA). TRA was founded in Texas in 1951. To be a member of TRA, you must first become a member of the NRA. Cost of membership in the TRA is covered by membership dues to the NRA.

Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP)
On July 1, CACREP assumed responsibility for carrying out the mission and vision of the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE). All graduate programs that were accredited by CORE are now accredited by CACREP, and can be found in the CACREP directory of Accredited Programs. CACREP accredits master’s and doctoral degree programs in counseling and its specialties that are offered by colleges and universities in the United States and throughout the world.
