Other ways to celebrate

We know this has been a challenging year that has prompted unprecedented changes to the way you learn and live. It has also pre-empted the potential for a safe, meaningful celebration of all of your academic accomplishments. But you should be proud of your accomplishments as you earn your degrees and reach your goals!

Your achievements will be marked on campus and in the community. The “Mining Minds” pickaxe sculpture at UTEP’s Sun Bowl-University roundabout will be illuminated in blue and orange from Wednesday, Dec. 9, through Sunday, Dec. 13, in honor of the Class of 2020. In addition, the Star on the Mountain will be lit in honor of the Class of 2020 on Saturday, Dec. 12, and Sunday, Dec. 13.

We look forward to celebrating with you in May 2021!
