The Summit’s theme, Aligning Visions, brought together local, state, and federal behavioral health stakeholders from all sectors. Empower Change is the organizing committee for the Annual Summit.

Summit Focuses on Improving Mental Health Services in El Paso

One in five adults in the U.S. will experience mental illness in a given year, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. That translates to more than 43 million people who may or may not seek help. 

On Thursday Oct. 18, 2018, community leaders, residents and health professionals gathered for the 4th annual El Paso Behavioral Health Consortium Summit. The event was sponsored by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation.
