The Girls Who Code College Loop at UTEP is a college community for women and non-binary students interested in tech and computer science that support one another in completing their degrees. What makes Girls Who Code special is its belief that in order to change the world you need more than just your coding skills.
HoneyBadgers Esports club at UTEP
EP Honeybadgers, a student organization at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), is composed of college-level eSport competitors, who refine their talents and skills in preparation for tournaments or for casual gameplay. EP Honeybadgers have a variety of gaming teams which include League or Legends, Smash Bros., Call of Duty, Apex, etc.

Meeple Board Game Society
They play all types of tabletop games, ranging from Uno and Settlers of Catan to Dungeons and Dragons and any other game that involves a table, a group of people, and a shared experience. They hold weekly meetings open to everyone, offering a wide variety of games and a diverse group of participants, along with provided snacks. Additionally, they host events and workshops to teach members about game design and development, as well as introduce the community to board games.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers/Latinos in Science and Engineering
Their aim is to empower members to achieve their goals by providing the necessary tools and professional opportunities through meaningful experiences. They strive to become the most impactful and largest chapter in the region, ensuring that their members are recognized as symbols of excellence in the STEM community. Through dedication and a commitment to excellence, they seek to create an environment where members can thrive and make significant contributions to the field.

Studio Sigilo is intended to cultivate an inspiring and inclusive environment that nurtures the creative talents of all students and provides a platform for aspiring fashion designers to flourish. We are dedicated to fostering growth, facilitating networking opportunities, and bringing together like-minded individuals with an appreciation for the art that is fashion. We accomplish this by designing and showcasing innovative clothing designs through captivating runway shows, emphasizing sustainable practices, fostering local collaborations with artists and craftsmen, and nurturing the environment. Through our organization, we aim to empower and support a diverse community of creatives, fostering innovation and excellence within UTEP.
YES, She Can!
The YES, She Can! program goal is to increase the number of women, particularly Hispanic women, in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) academic studies from undergraduate through graduate degrees. This begins with changing societal STEM stereotypes in our region because representation matters. Historically, women, and particularly Hispanic women, are underrepresented in STEM careers. The program offers professional development and mentoring for both college and high school students.
