Louis Everett, Ph.D., appointed as College of Engineering Dean’s Office Fellow

 

Louis Everett, Ph.D., P.E, John T. MacGuire Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering, was appointed as College of Engineering Dean’s Office Fellow.

The Dean’s Office Fellow Program is designed to involve more faculty in leadership roles, as well as leveraging faculty expertise in specific areas of priority for the College.

A distinguished researcher in automation, machine design, robotics, and sensor/actuator design, Everett has also worked in residence at a variety of industry and government positions including NASA JSC, NASA JPL, IBM, Bell Laboratories and Texas Instruments. Additionally, Everett has an extensive and exemplary record of service at The University of Texas at El Paso, having served in faculty and administrative roles.
