Based on the hit Whoopi Goldberg film, "Sister Act" the musical tells the hilarious story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look - a convent! Under the suspicious watch of the Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices through song as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. With an exciting disco and pop flavored score by Alan Menken ("Beauty and the Beast"), it’s a sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship. "Sister Act" is a reason to rejoice!

Tickets available at the UTEP Ticket Center (915-747-5234) at 2901 N. Mesa St., directly in front of the Don Haskins Center. They are open
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(closed on Sundays).
