IS A MASTER'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING IN YOUR FUTURE? If you've recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in engineering and are on the fence about getting a master's degree, keep reading. UTEP offers two fully online master's degrees in engineering: a master's in construction management and a master's in systems engineering. The programs are 30 credit hours each; they are easily accessible, cost-effective and offered 100% online from UTEP’s College of Engineering. Tuition for both is $782/credit hour, both in-state and out-of-state.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT JOB OUTLOOK According to a Research and Markets report, the U.S. construction industry is expected to grow by 3.7% in
2022 and annually through 2025. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) also reported that the employment of construction managers is projected to grow 11% by 2030, which is faster than the average for all occupations.
Alejandra Gamez graduated with her construction management degree from UTEP in May 2024. She recently accepted a position with Sundt Construction, Inc. as a Field Engineer in the commercial sector. Alejandra says: "The MSCM program prepared me with the necessary tools to help me start with confidence and build up my

Alex Martin is a nontraditional student – after his first attempt at college, he had to drop out and start working to pay bills. He started his career at AT&T and has been there for over 15 years. He graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University East's online program. Now, he is one semester away from getting an online master's degree in Systems Engineering at UTEP… and isn't ready to stop!
