"This program is challenging yet rewarding. It allows people who may not have otherwise had the ability to attend an in-person university to return to school and complete a college education. Given my current schedule (working full-time, parenting and extracurricular activities), there is no way I would be able to attend in-person classes. This program has allowed me to go back to
school and complete my degree."
FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: ROBERT WILSON
Professor of Practice, Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business Robert Wilson is a business owner and former Wall Street employee. He came to UTEP to pursue his passion for teaching and is now at the end of his fifth year here.
"The proudest moment of teaching is when a student sees their potential and pursues it. In business school, most students are focused on pursuing a career. When they find something they love and they get it, I am always happy."
Business is far and away the most popular major for students earning a bachelor’s degree. That has been the case since 1980, according to the National Center for Education Statistics. Why is business so popular? Take a look at its versatility. Learn more.
