Grow With Google Certificates
Students who are currently enrolled may pursue various certificates offered by Grow With Google at no extra cost. This opportunity is also available to current UTEP faculty and staff. The certificates are offered by Google in partnership with Coursera. They complement specific areas of study and can provide skills that you will find useful in a variety of careers. Currently enrolled students, faculty and staff will use their UTEP credentials to complete one certificate at a time before moving on to another certificate.

Note that the deadline to sign up each semester (Fall and Spring only) will be the 5th day of the semester; at that point, the survey will close and will reopen again when registration becomes available for the next semester.Answer these questions to get started

Who can participate in the certificate?
Right now, UTEP is offering these certificates to currently enrolled online students. Current faculty and staff may also participate.
What is the cost of the certificates?
It is free to you as an enrolled UTEP student or as a current faculty or staff member.
What do I need to do to participate?
How much time do I have to complete it?
You will have a semester to complete the certificate program, i.e.. Fall (August to December) or Spring (January to May). You will be taken out of the course on the last day of finals.
What if I don't complete it before the deadline?
If you don't complete by the end of the semester, you may request an extension by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Although your UTEP-supported access might not continue, any progress you’ve made in the course will be saved. You can always return and to pick up where you left off, at which point you will need to pay the Coursera subscription until you finish.
Can I enroll in multiple certificates?
When using the UTEP-sponsored account, you may enroll in only one certificate at a time and complete it successfully before you can move on to another one.

What happens after I have completed the certificate?
You can see all the Course Certificates you've earned on your Accomplishments page. From there, you can download, print, or share your Certificates.
You can also check your Accomplishments page to see courses you completed but did not earn Course Certificates for, and your final grades in all the courses you've completed.
