BEFORE APPLYING TO THE EDUCATION HONORS PROGRAM, THE STUDENT MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
- Student must be classified as
- Freshman
- Sophomore
- Juniors
Student must have at least two years -four semesters- reminding to graduate
- Student is required a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
IF REQUIREMENTS ARE FULLFILLED, STUDENT MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION
A successful Honors Program Application will consist in a single PDF file, submitted at uhpnetwork@utep.edu
TO COMPLETE THE EDUCATION HONORS PROGRAM, THE STUDENT MUST FULLFILL THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Complete four (4) of the following events, at least one per year to remain an active member of the UHP. Student will have to provide proof of completion and attend workshops.
- Capstone Experiences
- Community Engagement
- Creative Activities
- Internship
- Professional Preparation
- Student Leadership
- Research and Scholarly Activity
- On-Campus Student Employment
- Study Abroad/Study Away
- Students must be a part of the Honors community at UTEP. Mandatory attendance at events will be announced during the academic school year
