Connected University is an online professional development community. This telecommunication network provides educators with courses, learning resources, just-in-time support and away to interact with peers nationwide regarding the integration of technology into the classroom. The courses available are 3 or 6-week courses. All are related to technology use and technology integration. The How-To center offers just-in-time lessons on how to become more Internet-savvy. Recipes4Success lessons offer instruction in basic application proficiency in a context for applying in the classroom.

DALLAS TeleLearning is one of the leading suppliers of programming for the Public Broadcast System Adult Learning Services. Over 40,000 students to enroll in these courses each semesters. The first telecourse was offered in 1972 through the Dallas County Community College District. These courses were offered as an integrated learning system through video programs. Beginning in 1991, the program expanded to teleconferencing and videoconferencing to national and international audiences. Teleconferences are offered to support education and training at educational institutions, businesses and governmental agencies.
Texas Education Telecommunications Network (TETN)

TETN provides cost effective interactive audio/video communication to educators across Texas. The Texas Education Agency and Regional Education Service Centers work together to maintain, operate and improve the state-wide telecommunications network for video-conferencing. Some of the TETN videoconferencing subjects are on legislative views, professional development, board meetings, interviews, trainings and round table discussions.
