PERSONAL PROFILE

CURRENT POSITION

I am a Special Ed. teacher for the Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District at Villareal Elementary School in Olmito, Texas. This is my fifth year in the classroom. The first two years I taught pre-k for half of the day and special ed. resource for the other half of the day. Since then I have taught full day special education content mastery/resource. I really enjoy working with my special education students.

EDUCATIONAL GOALS

I plan on earning a Masters' Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Texas at Brownsville. With this degree I hope to assist with the design and implementation of technology in the curriculum as well as in my classroom.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

I came into the educational field through the ACP program at the University of Texas at Brownsville. My undergraduate degree is in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University located in Huntsville, Texas. I just got married this past June and my wife and I are settling into our new home here in Brownsville.
