Jakerz and the infobaun
Once upon a time there was a person who enjoyed pushing buttons. Wherever he went, if he saw a button he would push it to see what would happen. As he grew up he could reach more buttons that got him in trouble with his dad. His dad said, "If you push anymore buttons, one day you'll push a button that'll get you into more trouble than you'll be able to handle."
Since then this fellow sublimated his button fetish by insatiably finding other things that would do something when pushed, eventually many years later, he decided to buy one of the first Macintosh computers that came out in 1985. With that computer, this fellow learned how to draw pictures, make animated movies, draw cartoon strips, and make electronic music. He used some of the first versions of PageMaker, HyperCard, MacDraw, and MacPaint. These applications were later stolen by the evil software giant, Microsoft. Anyway, this person continues to remain loyal to "different" thinking. |
Howdy, everybody! |

Ever since, this person, who was called Jakerz, listened carefully and studied diligently to learn everything he could about a big shiny new button called the Internet. He found out that he could put these little buttons called web pages on the Internet. Jakerz went to school and studied web spinning, movie making, picture taking, and media streaming. One day he found out that the could get a professional degree from UT Brownsville, so he rode the web surf over the whole state of Texas, because he really lived in El Paso and became an Educational Technology graduate student. Jakerz teaches computer classes for the Clint Independent School District; he also has become a board member of the El Paso Playhouse, and if you go to Red Sands Elementary School you'll see he STILL living happily in the great big world. :^p
