Lupe R. Briseno
My name is Lupe Briseno, age 35, and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am currently a Logistics Training Instructor at Lackland AFB, Texas and a member of the faculty of the Community College of the Air Force. I spent 12 years in the USAF and the two years after that, teaching in the public schools. I spent one year at the middle school level and a half a semester at the high school level, before taking on my current position with the United States Government. I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Education program, majoring in Education Technology, through the University of Brownsville. My daily interests include lecturing, counseling, teaching computer labs, and my own schoolwork. Then the real work begins when I get home, with my two sons, Jonathan (11) and Michael (3). In between my children, supper, working-out, and tending to the house, I somehow manage to get my sleep. I know we all do it and I salute all those people who are striving to be better educated for the sake of our school children. Lastly, I hope to learn as much as I can from my peers in this class because I have found that on-line learning can be very difficult if you don't have the support, feedback, and collaboration of your fellow classmates and the instructional team. I am looking forward to a successful semester and gaining more friendships.
