Nancy Donaldson

My name is Nancy Donaldson and I live in Fort Davis, Texas. I am an Instructional Technology Consultant for Region 18 Education Service Center in Alpine and Midland, Texas. My main responsibility at work this school year has been developing and conducting TIF Tech training for personnel in schools that received TIF Technology grants last fall. I am responsible for the Foundations strand and the Curriculum and Instruction strand of the TIF curriculum.

My experience prior to my current position includes working in the oil industry for 15 years and teaching high school English, journalism, business, and computer classes for 6 years.

I am enrolled in the UT Brownsville Educational Technology online graduate program and have completed 5 online classes. I have a very demanding travel schedule with my job so the online masters program is the perfect solution for me. I have learned much and enjoyed my classes through the Telecampus.

I'm married to Larry, a CPA and controller for a local alfalfa farming operation. Our kids are Betsy, 20, who lives in Austin, and Cory, 18, who joined the Marines last fall and is currently in training at Camp Pendleton, California. We live a mile east of Fort Davis, on seven acres in the country. We enjoy peace and quiet, star-gazing, outdoor barbecues, and watching old movies in our spare time.
