Isabel Vallejo

Hi! My name is Isabel Vallejo and I'm a doctoral student in the College of Education at UTEP. My focus area is higher education administration with special emphasis on evaluation, distance education and qualitative research methodology.

I was born in Puebla, Mexico where I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from the Universidad de las Americas, Puebla. Then, I came to UTEP to study my M.A. in Applied Linguistics.

&nsbp;   I have always been interested in the use of computers and technology to enhance learning at the college level, and right now I'm focusing on the evaluation and quality of distance education programs. Currently, I work as a research assistant for the 1995 Challenge Grant at UTEP doing program evaluation using qualitative methods.
