Evaluation and Assessment
Videoconferencing:
A simple survey will be part of the packages
the managers download off the site and pass
out to the employees before the conference.
At the end of the conference, each employee
is asked to complete the survey and give
to the property manager who forwards it to
the home office person who handles the conferences.
The surveys will be anonymous and ask questions
about the content and delivery, specifically
about any problems they experienced with
the new system and any suggestions they may
have to make the programs better.
At the one-year mark, accounting will need
to supply management with the cost of travel
associated with training for the year to
assess whether or not the cost of this activity
has decreased due to the videoconferencing
. Cost should also be calculated for all
the components of the system and any ancillary
charges associated with the delivery system
for a comparison of the total travel costs
for last year prior to the implementation
of the videoconferencing.
Web-Based Courses:
Periodic surveys will be distributed to employees
via Lotus Notes regarding course content
and future needs. Courses deemed outdated
or with low employee use will be removed
and replaced with updated courses.
At the end of the first licensing period,
typically one year, the database will be
queried to determine how many employees used
the system, what courses were accessed and
what courses were accessed the most. With
this data, management can then reassess the
number of library cards subsequently purchased
as well as any new courses to be offered
to employees.
