Josefina Parga

       Hi! My name is Josefina Parga Enriquez or "Chepis" for those of you who are my friends. I was born in Durango, Dgo. México. I graduated as an Industrial Engineer specializing in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Durango, México. Later, I completed a Masters Degree in Administrative Engineering in 1994. Currently, I am pursuing a second Master's degree in Communication at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).

     Since 1988 I have worked in various areas of the "maquiladora" industry, including Quality Control, Engineering, and Management, for companies, such as the Seiko Group, United Technologies, Thomson Consumer Electronics, Proctor Silex-Hamilton Beach, and presently at the Robert Bosch Corporation.

      I am interested in interdisciplinary studies, such as Communication, and especially the ways in which communication affects human interaction.
