Take a Voyage into the Year 2000!

Join Brothers and Alumni from across the United States and Canada for the 48th General Assembly in Atlanta, Georgia this July 27-30th! Many exciting workshops, round-table discussions and speakers are scheduled to make this General Assembly one you will not want to miss! Each chapter is required to send an official delegate who will be involved in the important General Assembly sessions while other members and Alumni can take advantage of the additional sessions covering every area of chapter operations, leadership development, ritualism, recruitment, Impact Leadership, advising fundamentals, mentoring, housing issues and much more!

This summer we will be at the beautiful Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia located at 2450 Galleria Parkway. Cost is $80 for each Official Chapter Delegate and $395 for each additional participant. Alumni cost is $395 per person. Costs include meals, lodging and conference materials. General Assembly begins on Thursday, July 27th. If you would like to arrive on Wednesday to take advantage of bonus workshops and committee participation you will need to pay an additional $50 to cover your overnight accommodations.

Details for this exciting event will be arriving via mail shortly. You will be able to register online at www.lambdachi.org beginning April 1, 2000. Simply log on to the Lambda Chi Alpha website and follow the General Assembly menu selections - it is that easy! Don't put off registering as the deadline for all registrations is Friday, June 9, 2000 and space will be limited. We look forward to seeing you this summer in Atlanta as we begin our Voyage into the Year 2000!

In four months, Atlanta, Georgia, will host Lambda Chi Alpha's 48th General Assembly. Currently, staff is busy preparing for this huge event, which many of you will have the opportunity to attend. Members of Lambda Chi Alpha, Alumni and undergraduates, family, and friends will be in attendance to this event. In the next two issues of this newsletter, you will find out more about General Assembly registration and events planned for the conference.
