Location of the Caballo Local Fauna.

Description. The Caballo Local Fauna (Morgan et al. 2011) is derived from about 10 sites near Caballo along the western side of Caballo Lake. The sites are about 16 km southwest of Truth or Consequences.

Age. Late Blancan, ca. 1.8-2.6 mya (Morgan et al. 2011).
