General Description. The locality data given is "50 miles southwest of El Paso, spring area." Even given considerable leeway to the mileage, the locality should be in the general El Barreal area of Chihuahua. This is an area of playas and apparently subject to flooding. Springs, present or past, would not be unexpected.
