Hatch Cemetery

Location of the Hatch Cemetery site.Age. Pleistocene, apparently pre-Wisconsin.

General Description. Southwest of cemetery south of the Deming Road (NM 26) west of Hatch. Upper light colored sediments (whitish to gray and then a lower tan). These are uppermost strata at the site.

Discussion. The prairie-dog material was donated by Robert Riley of El Paso. The gastropod fauna is largely aquatic.
