Location of the Lucy site.Age. Late Wisconsin. Paleoindian artifacts suggest an age of 11,000-12,000 BP and a radiocarbon date of 14,330 is thought to be too old (Morgan and Lucas 2005).

General Description. Agogino and Stevens (1972): A series of blowouts along the Pleistocene Lake Estancia shoreline near the railroad stop of Lucy.

Discussion. Clovis and Sandia points discovered in 1954. Excavations were done by William B. Roosa under Frank Hibben's direction (Agogino and Stevens 1972).
