Rhinichthys osculus (Girard 1856)—Speckled Dace

Page and Burr (1991) noted this species as the most ubiquitous fish in the western United States, occurring from British Columbia south into Sonora.

Czaplewski and Mead et al. (1999) reported this fish from Papago Springs Cave on the basis of a lower pharyngeal element.
