Casados Ranch

Location of the Casados Ranch site.Age. Late Pleistocene. Molluscs with a closer resemblance to Illinoian local faunas of the High Plains than to Wisconsin faunas of the same vicinity (McMullen and Zakrzewski 1972).

General Description. Casados Ranch, 20 km northwest of Logan (Morgan and Lucas 2005).

Discussion. McMullen and Zakrzewski (1972): Cooler, more humid climate than is found in northeastern New Mexico today. McMullen and Zakrzewski (1972) also report 20 species of molluscs from the site.
