General Description.Guadalupita Canyon, 5 km south of Guadalupita and 15 km northeast of Mora (Morgan and Lucas 2005).
Discussion. Fossils found in peaty sediments. Morgan and Lucas (2005) note that this is the highest elevational record for mammoth in the state.
