Technology has made a tremendous impact on nearly every aspect of modern life. Proof of just how complete this impact is, and will continue to be, can be seen by observing the changes in a field that is not often thought of when mentioning technology: the apparel industry.  Even more innovative is the prospect of wearing computers on your clothes. Wearable computing will impact life in a number of ways. It is already used for: instantly gathering and analyzing information to monitor body conditions during combat, useful for military and criminal justice purposes; training factory employees; use in the NASA space program; and in everyday life, such as integrating equipment like cellular phones, pagers, personal digital assistants, and digital watches.
