Your success is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice.
It is not something you wait for,
but rather something you achieve with effort.
Things won't turn up in this world until you turn them up.

Many of the general shortcomings in education have been discussed in "A Nation At Risk" (National Commission on Excellence in Education, 1983).   Substantial research shows that the educational establishment in the United States is comparatively behind that of selected European and Asian nations in teaching students to compete in highly technical environments. In order to remain economically competitive in an environment where technology is changing rapidly,  managers need to be problem-solvers and creative thinkers. Educator’s must prepare students for this environment by focusing on higher order cognitive skills, skills which foster the development of problem-solving and creative skills.

This is the starting point into our exploration of technology and how it is interacting with, as well as affecting education. We will be looking at three different levels of education, from elementary, to high school, to University level.
