Community Engagement and Partnerships
Our Goal
Through its community engagement and outreach efforts, the College of Liberal Arts strives to strengthen community partnerships by establishing relationships and facilitating interactions to make valuable contributions to the community in teaching, research and service.
Faculty and professional staff from the College of Liberal Arts apply their time and talent to addressing the needs and objectives of the community-at-large. They have collaborated with local organizations on research, presentations, seminars, training and workshops as requested on varying topics as well as other special events.
Dr. Gina Nuñez-Mchiri introduces the inaugural class of the Leadership, Education, and Advocacy (L.E.A.D.) Initiative on March 8, 2017. The Women's and Gender Studies Program is partnering with Wise Latina International on the L.E.A.D. Initiative.
Training Topics
The College of Liberal Arts seeks to promote and increase accessibility to faculty expertise. Faculty and staff can provide specialized training and assistance to fulfill the professional development, capacity building and organizational goals of not-for-profit, business, government, public entities and other constituencies. Workshops and training can be designed and customized to meet the requirements of the organization.

Speakers
